This series is an inquiry into "Entanglement" across various registers—philosophical, scientific, and the pragmatic realities of social, economic, and political systems. These drawings are the artist's response to this intertwining of interconnected energies, existences, and ways of being and non-being.
These drawings relate to the concept of entanglement discussed in Vedanta—part of the Upanishads (Hindu scriptures)—which raises fundamental metaphysical questions about the existence of separate entities and the nature of their interactions and correlation. Vedanta's focus is on a spiritual, unified consciousness rather than the material interactions of particles as in quantum mechanics. It explores the implications of such interconnectedness, challenging our understanding of individual objects, causality, and the fundamental nature of reality by suggesting a deeply holistic and non-local universe.
